Alexander A. Fedorets教授(俄罗斯秋明国立大学)长期致力于悬浮液滴团簇的研究,近期与Leonid A. Dombrovsky教授(俄罗斯科学院联合高温所)合作在PARTICUOLOGY上发表研究成果,提出一种用于精确测量悬浮液滴团簇亚微米级高度的光学新方法。该方法的核心思想是,悬浮液滴与液面的距离变化会使液滴因受光照引起液滴周围出现干涉光晕颜色的改变。因此,本文通过监测蒸汽凝结时液滴向水面移动引起光晕颜色改变的周期性变化,测定了液滴的下降速度(<10 nm/s),进一步确定了液滴在水面上的亚微米级悬浮高度。另外,上述测量方法还可以用于对新开发液滴悬浮理论模型进行验证。

Alexander Fedorets is a leading researcher in the field of microhydrodynamics, and he is the head of a laboratory at the University of Tyumen (Russia). Alexander Fedorets received a PhD in 2002 and became a Doctor of Science in 2011. In October 2003, he made the discovery of a self-arranged droplet cluster. Professor Fedorets is the author of more than 100 research papers and 24 inventions. In 2018, Alexander Fedorets and Leonid Dombrovsky were awarded the William Begell Medal for their studies of droplet clusters.
Leonid Dombrovsky is a leading expert in the field of radiative transfer in scattering media as applied to diverse problems. He is a Chief Researcher at the Joint Institute for High Temperatures (Russia). He received a PhD in 1974 and a Doctor of Science in 1990. Prof. Dombrovsky has published over 300 research papers and several books. In 2016, he was awarded the A.V. Luikov Medal. His contributions to heat transfer in high-temperature systems, solar heating of Cryosphere, and infrared treatment of human tumors are well-known.
