Highlights
Abstract

Since the establishment of our system of Thematic Editors about two years ago, the journal has greatly benefited from their contribution in initial peer review of manuscripts, in recommending worthy research results and in helping the overall system of running this journal. With this issue we feel proud to add our fourth Thematic Editor to this honor roll, Dr. Judith Chow, Nazir and Mary Ansari Chair Research Professor in Entrepreneurialism and Science in the Division of Atmospheric Sciences at the Desert Research Institute in USA, who has over 30 years of experience in atmospheric, air quality, and environmental health research and education.


Thematic editors of Particuology

Judith Chow, PhD (Harvard University, USA), Nazir and Mary Ansari Chair Research Professor in Entrepreneurialism and Science at the Desert Research Institute, specialized in theoretical and experimental investigations in aerosol phenomena, as well as applications of aerosol.

Guangsheng Luo, PhD (Tsinghua University, China), Professor and Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University, specialized in particle preparation and synthesis, nanoparticles and application of particle technology.

Aibing Yu, PhD (University of Wollongong, Australia), Federation Fellow of Australian Research Council, Scientia Professor at University of New South Wales and Director of Centre for Computer Simulation and Modeling of Particulate Systems at UNSW, specialized in modeling and simulation, bulk solids technology and particle fluid system.

Jesse Zhu, PhD (University of British Columbia, Canada), Professor and Canada Research Chair in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at University of Western Ontario and Director of Particle Technology Research Center at UWO, specialized in particle fluid system, particle characterization and measurements and application of particle technology.
